Art Journal - February 2022

One of my goals for this year was to try and make art every day; obviously life doesn’t allow for a drawing or painting session every single day, but I wanted to make a conscious effort to make art regularly. To that end, I started playing around with the idea of keeping an art journal. I wanted this to give me a low-pressure excuse to draw or paint more often, with less worry about what to draw.

I’ve been working a lot with ink & watercolour, and between two sketchbooks I got a few pages in this month! I was happy with how almost everything turned out. Even where things are just not good, I definitely learned from each page and enjoyed the process immensely.
